Reservations at our host hotel are available at the Ramada Plaza
Hotel (4 minutes to race start). Mention "LAKE CITY MARATHON" for the discount rate of $81 for 1 to 4 people per
room. You must call the hotel direct at 574-269-2323 to make reservations. Important: This special
rate has been extended and is now available until the motel fills
(thank you Larry!). If you must cancel, call by 4 PM September 10th. Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is at
noon local time.
The Comfort Inn has also given us a discount.:

AND MENTION THE LAKE CITY MARATHON DISCOUNT RATE THROUGH CHARLES of $72. They had 26 rooms left as of August 22nd.
The Hampton Inn is already full (one night stay),
but you can reserve a room for 2 nights for $318.
I have reserved some rooms at the Days Inn just
in case, these are for $58 / night; mention "Lake City Marathon" to get this discount rate.
There are also some rooms at the Economy Inn
(7 minutes from the start) for $40 to $45. For more hotels and a map, see the links below. Most of
the hotels are at or near the US Highway 30 and Center street intersection. You can click on the Ramada Plaza building for

PASTA DINNER
The dinner is at New Life Christian Church from 5 pm to 8 pm. To
get to the dinner, from US Highway 30 turn north on 325 East. You will see the church on the east side of the road;
the dinner is in the north dome.
PACKET PICKUP
Race Packets will be available Friday, Sept 12th at New Life Christian
Church (see map below) from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday at the race start (Winona Lake Park) at the Senior Center (big
building at the lakeshore) starting at 4:45 AM.
RACE START
To get to the race start from US Highway 30, take Center Street and go
west. You will pass the Ramada. The first light is Argonne. Turn south (left) and go under the railroad tracks and through
the big intersection. The road becomes Park Street. Keep going straight to the municipal parking lot. The race start is on
the other side of the tennis courts at Winona Lake Park.
NOTE
Race registration closes Wednesday; there is no registration after
Wednesday (i.e. there is no race day registration).
